ROLE OF THE AAF DISTRICTS AND GOVERNORS


To initiate effective communication with clubs, fostering AAF support and
involvement in achieving priority objectives.

Initiate effective communication with AAF on club needs, interests, and
concerns and participate in the response.

Represent club interest in the Council of Governors and board decisions.

Execute the district American Advertising Awards (ADDY?s) and the
National Student Advertising Competition.

Promote the American Advertising Awards program at all levels including
encouraging district winners to progress to the national level.

Provide services to clubs that include club management information and
guidance, professional developmen! t opportunities, and networking.

Assist AAF in recruiting new members.

Support the AAF state legislative structure.

Ensure effective administration of district structure including fiscal
management, volunteer motivation, and legal and ethical propriety.

District  activities are to be compatible with AAF mission and goals.
